Basic Cutting Board

About the Class

In this class you'll learn the basics of what goes into a wood cutting board. You will be provided with a glued-up cutting board blank consisting of 2 different wood species that you can choose from, learn how to flatten it with a planer, route an edge using a router table or hand-held router, sand through multiple grits with water-popping, and apply a food-safe finish. You will take home the cutting board at the end of class and be able to use it in your home or give it as a gift!
